New housing service for Sandhurst and Owlsmoor residents

Tenants and leaseholders are invited to call into Owlsmoor Community Centre between 1 and 3pm to discuss tenancy or general estate management issues.

Stanley Baxter, Grounds Maintenance and Landscape Manager, will also be attending on March 10 to answer any landscaping queries and provide information.

The move to hold a Sandhurst and Owlsmoor surgery comes as a commitment following the transfer of housing to Bracknell Forest Homes to offer local services to local people.

Linda Wells, Housing and Community Services Director, said: “In previous years we’ve received feed back that Sandhurst and Owlsmoor residents would like a local service, and as a promise from the transfer from the Council to Bracknell Forest Homes, we are trialling a local surgery. We’re also keen to build face to face relationships with our customers and will always do our best to find convenient and accessible methods to deliver our services.”

Another surgery is planned for Tuesday 10 March. It will be held at Owlsmoor Community Centre at Yeovil Road, Owlsmoor, Sandhurst, Berkshire, GU47 0TD.

The surgeries are a great opportunity to meet housing officers, Diana Robins and Rita Nabbaka, who look after Sandhurst and Owlsmoor tenants and leaseholders.

All tenant and leaseholder events and meetings are now listed here in a new online calendar. The calendar lists all the events and meetings, including free Citizens Advice Bureau sessions, Customer Involvement Groups and Estate Walkabouts, that tenants and leaseholders can attend to influence the housing service they receive.
