Rent a garage

Bracknell Forest Homes owns and manages a number of garages that are available for letting at the following rates:

Tenants: £8.87 per week
Non-tenants: £10.20 per week

Any resident living within the borough can apply to rent a garage but we give priority to existing tenants. However, tenants with rent arrears or any other debts will not be offered a garage.

Garages are intended for the storage of a motor vehicle. They are not sufficiently weathertight or secure for the storage of any other goods. However, in certain circumstances we will let garages for storage at the owner's risk, providing that the garage is not in a sought after area.

Please note the following:

You should not store petrol or any other inflammable materials in your garage
You cannot sub-let your garage to anyone else
Garages are for personal, private use only and not for commercial activities

If you would like to apply for a garage, please fill out our online garage application form. You will then be placed on a waiting list and we will contact you when a garage becomes available. How long you will have to wait will depend on the area you are interested in and how many other people are on the list.

When you want to give up your garage, you must provide one week's written notice and you will need to return the two keys that you were provided with. Please also ensure that the lock is in good working order and that the garage has been cleared and swept through. You will be charged if we have to clear it.
